# removeDuplicatedChars

> Removes duplicated characters from a string.

## Signature

```typescript path=null start=null theme={null}
removeDuplicatedChars(str: string): string
```

## Parameters

* **str**: `string` - The input string.

## Returns

`string` - A new string with duplicated characters removed.
